draymond green throws steph curry open

this might be more of a highlight than a mediumlight, but i saw this clip from the golden state warriors game last night and it's just too good not to write about:

honestly, my only reaction when i saw it the first time was "what...?"

everyone will talk about steph curry's shot, and deservedly so - it still makes no sense how he turns around before his threes go in, regularly.

but then there's the pass from draymond green. this wasn't a set play, absolutely nothing was planned here (the warriors actually just got an offensive rebound). so to even attempt the pass he threw at this moment is absurd:

kevon looney isn't even setting a screen for steph. there's literally nothing going on. steph is just clearing out to space the floor. his whole body is turned towards his own basket when the ball is already halfway to him:

i don't really have any words for this. i guess this is what happens when two guys play together for a long time - the chemistry is there and cool shit just happens.
